You’d think that biologists, of all people, would have words for life. But in scientific language our terminology is used to define the boundaries of our knowing. What lies beyond our grasp remains unnamed.

this is spirit work

I pride myself on keeping my academic nose to the proverbial grindstone. At heart, I am a scientist; or rather, I always aspired to be one. I believe what I experience to be true. And yet, in my more than 20 years in this field, I have seen and experienced phenomena that science has, quite frankly, no metric and no language for. I have witnessed the unexplainable, indeed, the ineffable. I have been a party to events that no SOAP note can adequately describe or cleanly elucidate for the reflections of posterity.

In this one day (7 Hour) course, we will turn our attention to that which is, which ripples and runs under our fingers, in our skin, through the tissues, impregnating fluid and field with Light and Love. Here is the Dreaming-Time, the Off-Time, the Spiral. As such, this class provides no accredited CE hours. What we can explore in this class is not amenable to examination by a Board. While the Standards of Ethics and Morals will be strictly adhered to and boundaries clearly maintained at all times (this is serious work!), we will have no syllabus, no course text, no slide shows—only experiential learning.

Please note that to attend this course, the student must be willing to set aside ideations and lineages of healing. We will not be trying on each other’s spiritual beliefs, nor will any be presented or prescribed. “Sets” must be left behind. This class will be a learning, experiential lab for assessing the value and implication of that which can be called “Spirit,” in this Method, in particular. It must be also understood that this class is not intended to treat, modify, relieve, assess, explore, palliate, or validate anyone’s personal experience in life; it is for the edification of one’s perspectives only. This is necessary to state upfront, as boundaries in spirit work are fundamental. If you disagree, please consider passing on this offering. Thank you!
